Travel Upper Class with Virgin Atlantic and the service begins from the moment you leave your home or office. We offer a range of transfer options to suit your needs.

On both your outbound and return flight, our complimentary* chauffeur driven car service will collect you from work or home, so you can sit back and relax all the way to the airport. We'll also meet your flight at the other end and take you to your hotel or office.

If time is vital you could opt for our limobike service from Central London and the Home Counties to Heathrow or Gatwick. Or relax at our expense on the Heathrow Express or Gatwick Express train service.

Upper Class Cut Out Check In

If you arrive at Heathrow or Gatwick airport by chauffeur driven car (or limobike), your chauffeur will check you in from the car at our unique Drive Thru Check In* so you can bypass the terminal and head straight for the Clubhouse.

If you make your own way to the airport or arrive by train, rest assured we've got an efficient and friendly dedicated Upper Class Check In area where you can check in your baggage. Express hand baggage check in is also available at a number of airports, as are Fast Track passport and immigration channels.

Premium Economy Class

In Premium Economy, you've got the space to be an individual. Dedicated check in, flexible tickets and pre-flight champagne. If you want a flight with just that little bit more, then Premium Economy puts you in a class of your own.

There are few things more likely to cause anxiety than getting to check in to find a big queue. That's why Premium Economy has a queue busting dedicated check in, so it's never a problem. You'll be through faster than you can say 'my usual window seat please'. Once onboard, the separate Premium Economy cabin gives a real sense of space. And it's not just an impression. The seats are bigger and wider than economy seats, with headrests, legrests and a seat pitch of 38 inches, enabling you to really stretch your toes. Space isn't at a premium - it is in Premium.

Relax at the Airport

You might want to ask your chauffeur to pick you up early - because you're going to want to linger in the Clubhouse. We've got world class Clubhouses covering the globe, each with its own unique character. You'll find everything you'd expect, like full business facilities, and a few things you wouldn't expect such as golf driving ranges, Wurlitzer juke boxes, skiing machines and libraries with thousands of titles.

At London Heathrow and Gatwick Airport, you'll also find the Virgin Touch Health and Beauty Salons offering a tempting array of treatments from a haircut to a full back massage.

Dine before you fly

Our Clubhouse menus have been designed to compliment the onboard menu. For example, if you're flying over night you can choose to have your main meal in the Clubhouse, and maybe a light snack onboard so you can sleep as much as possible.

Shared Lounges

We're opening new Clubhouses all the time, but in airports without a Clubhouse, we've made arrangements with other airlines to make sure you're well catered for in shared lounges.

The Clubhouse has a unique style reflecting the bright harbour lights and the distinctive buildings of San Francisco. It has floor to ceiling glazing and unrivalled views across the bay. The centrepieces of the lounge are the bar and coloured glass panels that move to create different atmospheres in the space. Five monitors display digital art in the lounge showcasing local talent.

Premium Economy Class


With a minimum of eight channels showing the latest cinema releases, and a host of great sports, drama, comedy and arts programming, you're going to be spoilt for choice. And that's the very least you get, on some flights you can enjoy many more channels plus Nintendo and classic PC games. What's more you get your very own seatback screen to make it even more enjoyable.

If you are one of those people that likes to watch your favourite movies over and over again, you'll love our latest inflight entertainment system. It offers the biggest choice of movies, with video-on-demand so you can pause, play, rewind or fast forward just like at home. We'll be adding more features in the future so watch this space.

If you prefer your entertainment printed, then there's a full range of newspapers available.

We've gone all out to make sure there's something to entertain absolutely everyone during their Virgin Atlantic flight.

Movies

Each plane features at least eight of the very latest movie releases, taking in everything from romantic comedies to all out action flicks. Also, if you are one of the lucky passengers flying our new v:port Inflight Entertainment System you will be able to view up to 50 movies that you can pause, rewind and fast-forward just like you would do at home.

TV

We've also got a wide range of TV on offer. There's special programming for kids, as well as channels dedicated to music, comedy and travel.

Audio

If you want to rest your eyes, let your ears take in one of up to fourteen radio channels.

Video Games

For those who like their entertainment a little more interactive, we've got a treat in store with up to 35 Nintendo games on tap on most planes.

With our new v:port system you can use our fully interactive map that lets you roam around the world zooming in and out!

If you manage to tear yourself away from your Suite, then our newly designed bar area is a great place to meet fellow travellers, chat with the crew, have a drink or something to eat.Sleep. And stretch. At the touch of a button the seat flips over to the biggest fully flat bed in the sky when compared to any other airlines business class. And because every seat has aisle access theres no stepping over your neighbour.
