With just 138 guest rooms and suites, the hotel is smaller than many of its peers, allowing The Ritz-Carlton standard of personalised service to really come to the fore. The friendly staff know every guest by name and go to great lengths to ensure your comfort, from remembering your favourite drink to spraying you with cooling Evian while you sunbathe. The luxurious rooms all have private balconies or terraces and oversized marble bathrooms. Particularly recommended are the Club Floor Rooms with sunny sea views, and access to a private lounge (with separate children’s room), serving complimentary refreshments from early to late.
All children up to 8 years can join in the hotel’s Kids’ Club activities, from shell collecting to cookery classes. Children under four years must be accompanied by a parent or nanny. Grown-ups, meanwhile, will enjoy the hotel’s excellent spa featuring treatments for body and soul by Carita and Belle Lucce. Also a state-of-the-art gym, where personal trainers can recommend the ideal workout.
Otherwise, play tennis, golf at one of the nearby clubs, or take a dip in one of the three stunning swimming pools. Set among palms and green lawns the main pool features a swim-up bar, Jacuzzi and series of pools linked by channels, with waterfalls and boulders creating a lovely oasis effect. Newly extended gardens around the pool mean it’s a short and shady stroll to the beach.
The cuisine at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai is another highlight. Lunch alfresco at the poolside Gulf Pavilion, followed by afternoon tea or cocktails in the timeless elegance of the Lobby Lounge. In the evenings, enjoy gourmet dishes in the signature La Baie restaurant, outdoor Arabic dining at The Amaseena or delicious Mediterranean fare in Splendido.

Club Rooms
We highly recommend the fifth and sixth floor Club Rooms, which have stunning sea views and include membership to the exclusive Ritz-Carlton Club. Guests have a personal Club Key to access the sixth floor from the elevator and enjoy entry to the intimate Club Lounge, where complimentary drinks and a range of culinary refreshments are served from 6.00am to 2.00am. Children aged under five have their own adjacent lounge, equipped with scaled-down furniture, books, games and videos.
