Stuck for something memorable to do this Valentines Day? Why not head to Venice, where the Venice Carnival will be running from 11 - 21 February, jump onboard a gondola which will whisk you to concerts or grand balls. The carnival began in1296 and was resurrected in 1979 and is guaranteed to inspire romance.
