Cruising with Compagnie du Ponant is a distinctly chic affair, with each of the five vessels having its own individual personality and epitomising the art of cruising “à la française”.

The numerous destinations they visit include South America, the Caribbean, Asia, the Mediterranean and Iberian Peninsula, Northern Europe and Greenland, Antarctica, North America, the Red Sea and Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean.

They also offer a selection of themed cruises, including musical cruises presenting a variety of entertainment from jazz & gospel to Chopin. There are also wellness, golf, bridge, family and gastronomy cruises.

The fleet consists of the original three-mast sailing ship Le Ponant, with just 32 cabins and a convivial atmosphere; Le Levant , a sleek, thoroughbred of a yacht taking 90 guests; Le Diamant, the traditional cruise style ship with space for 226 guests; Le Boréal, a superb mega yacht offers 132 cabins and sister ship L’Austral which launched in May 2011. Both of these new additions have earned the international “green ship” label for their numerous eco-friendly features.
