Florida Luxury Holidays
Florida offers an expansive spectrum of experiences to a hugely diverse audience. Stretching for 200 miles, the Florida Keys encompass islands, reefs, bays and sandy beaches. Key West, the southernmost city in the US, is steeped in seafaring tradition, with palm-lined streets and gingerbread mansions. On the mainland, spanning some 1.5 million acres of south Florida, the Everglades National Park provides a sanctuary for many endangered species. With eight miles of white sandy beach lapped by the clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Naples is renowned for its shopping, superb golf and has a reputation for sophisticated dining out.
With 12 miles of seductive Atlantic shoreline, more golf courses per capita than any country in the USA, and an average temperature of 78c, wealthy Palm Beach is a city of lavish mansions, superb shopping and beachfront parks.
Miami is a melting pot of divergent nationalities, customs, cuisines and architectural styles and the party atmosphere and the miles of uncrowded beaches of Art Deco South Beach provide an immense draw.
Few places is Florida can match Orlando's vast playground for its ability to make dreams come true, but the fun doesn't stop as you exit the gates of Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World or any number of other famous attractions.
Orlando has to be the place for families with so many attractions to keep the children occupied. The Ritz-Carltons of Naples, South Beach, Palm Beach and Orlando all have fully supervised Ritz-Kids clubs; Four Seasons Miami offers a Kids for all Seasons club; The Breakers, The Fairmont Turnberry Isle, Boca Raton Resort have Coconut Crew, K.A.T (Kids at Turnberry) and Camp Boca respectively.
Golf: an amazing choice of top quality courses throughout Florida. Palm Beach and Naples offer particularly challenging championship courses or alternatively, Orlando has some 47 courses.
Florida is one of the US's homes of tennis with a huge number of courts and a variety of surfaces. Boca Raton has 30 courts, The Breakers has 17, Turnberry Isle has 19 and the Disney hotels have 20 courts. Salt and freshwater fishing is hugely popular, water sports are abundant and horse riding is available in most areas.
Beaches and water sports
Palm Beach: golden sand beaches, diving, snorkelling and general water sports.
Fabulous beaches, sport fishing and general water sports.
Florida Keys: diving, sport fishing and general water sports.

Florida offers a plethora of twin-centre options within the one state, but those seeking travel further afield will not be disappointed as the Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos are within easy flying distance.
