Introduction
Cradle Mountain Lodge is a unique and contemporary wilderness retreat with timber cabins
and suites including four premium King Billy Suites with log fires, scattered across the
hillside, epitomising this wilderness retreat on the threshold of Cradle Mountain, Lake St Clair
National Park.
Wallabies and possums often await your return from fly-fishing, bush walking, canoeing, horse
back riding or four-wheel drive trips across the Fury Plains. Afterwards relax with a massage or
sauna at the Waldheim Alpine Spa, Tasmania’s first true alpine spa. All food is from local sources
and the walk-in cellar is a feature of the restaurant .
Facilities
The activities staff provide a range of guided activities on a daily basis which vary depending on weather and season. Charges apply to some activities. National park entry fees may also apply.

Complimentary activities include over 20 different self guided walking tracks around Cradle Mountain & Dove Lake, ranging from 20 minutes to 9 hours.
