Introduction to The Sandpiper
Introduction
Intimate and full of character, it’s no wonder The Sandpiper has earned its place amongst distinguished company as one of the “Small Luxury Hotels of the World”. And it’s no more surprising that once its many delights have been experienced, guests are always eager to return.
Run with meticulous attention to detail by Wayne and Karen Capaldi, the Sandpiper is the sister hotel to the nearby Coral Reef Club and shares all their facilities including the beautiful new spa.
There is a range of accommodation from which to choose, ranging from Garden Rooms with stylish wicker furniture and pickled-pine interiors to the Tree Top Suites with their own private plunge pools and wonderful views of the glittering sea.
If you wish to spend time perfecting your backhand or working on your serve, you will be pleased to learn that the complimentary services of the resident tennis professional are available. There is also a whole clutch of complimentary water sports to enjoy, including water skiing. Or simply lie back and sunbathe on the beach, enjoying your complimentary fresh fruit sorbet which will be offered to you each day.
At night, the resort takes on a magical aspect, thanks to the gas lit torches which illuminate the paths and walkways – and there are few experiences to equal the fine cuisine in the dining room which is open to the cooling Bajan breeze.
The hotel will be closed between 15 August - 7 October 2009.
