Introduction to Santa Marina
Introduction
As a gem has many facets, so too does the jewel in the Aegean that is Mykonos. See it in different
lights and its character changes. By day an island of rugged natural beauty, by night a
cosmopolitan resort that centres on the lively bars, restaurants and tavernas of Mykonos town.
Five minutes from Mykonos town, Santa Marina is a secluded and peaceful twenty acre complex
combining hotel and villas on one site on a private peninsula with magnificent views across Ornos Bay
and the Aegean Sea.
Before you fling open the doors onto your sea view balcony to feel the sun on your face and the
breeze that turns the windmills’ sails, your eye is naturally drawn to the view from a window. There are
no fussy interiors to detract from the island’s omnipresent beauty, simply the perfect complement of
whites, yellows, blues and greens, every shade taken from nature itself.
Relax by the main pool or the new pool with its outdoor Jacuzzi and children’s pool. Alternatively,
a stint at the spa and fitness centre, lazy hours reading on the private beach, maybe even the
speedboat shuttle to one of the island’s other beaches.
Dining options include the main pool restaurant, beach bar or the new pool restaurant bar and
lounge. After sundown when the sea turns inky blue, dine by candlelight at the gourmet restaurant
Marine Club, enjoying refined service and innovative cuisine with a selection of the finest wines the
world has to offer.
