Meru National Park was the home of ‘Elsa’ the lioness, made famous by George and Joy Adamson and Elsa’s Kopje is the place to discover Africa at its most alluring with a striped landscape comprising lush green ribbons cutting through dry brown valleys. Each of the eight private cottages and the family cottage are individually fashioned from timber, stone and thatch, with the rusty rocks of the Mughwango Hill fe aturing within the unique structures. You are afforded 270º views of the surrounding park, sometimes even from your majestic bath. The landscaped swimming pool is delightful and a dip after a game drive is like swimming on top of the world!
