Introduction to Paradis Hotel & Golf Club
Introduction
Clustered like a Mauritian village on the far southwesterly tip of the island is the Paradis Hotel & Golf Club, its thatched roofs overlooked by the dramatic Le Morne Mountain. Ivory sands and a crystal clear lagoon
edge this private peninsula, while palm trees and tropical gardens create leafy surrounds for the villas and suites.
All the rooms are sea facing and provide elegant and spacious accommodation. Especially recommended are the Junior Suites with their crisp blue and white décor, huge bathrooms and large terrace or balcony. The resort also has 13 villas designed in the style of Creole
cottages. These provide intimate dwellings for couples or families wanting an extra degree of privacy, combined with access to the hotel’s amenities and livelier ambience. A new concept to Paradis is the spacious Family Suite with dedicated children's room. The 'Children's' Suite includes twin beds with sides for a cot if necessary, children's bathrobes and slippers, and a number of safety features for their protection.
Children are well looked after with a string of supervised activities at the Bob Marlin Mini Club for 3 to 12 year olds. Adults, meanwhile, can enjoy an astounding array of activities, from tennis, football, volleyball and mountain biking to numerous water sports. A highlight is the 18-hole championship golf course, which makes the most of its stunning lagoonside setting with several challenging water hazards.
Guests at Paradis may also use the stunning spa by Clarins -the perfect place in which to totally unwind.
A quartet of restaurants provides an unbeatable choice of dining experiences, along with the three eateries at sister hotel Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa, whose facilities are open to Paradis guests. For a romantic evening, enjoy a dinner of fresh seafood at the beachfront La Ravanne restaurant, overlooking the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean.
