Introduction to Frégate Island Private
Introduction
This stunning and extremely discreet island is home to
seven picture - postcard beaches and a mere sixteen one and two bedroom guest villas and one presidential villa, meaning
you’ll rarely have to share a stretch of sand with anyone else. You may, however, find you are sharing a beach with local wildlife, as the island is totally dedicated to preserving the natural habitat via a highly successful ecological approach
The beautiful villas, each with a private pool are designed to make a minimal impact on the
environment, reflect the ambience of Frégate perfectly simple, yet extremely luxurious, the neutral hues of cream, mushroom and brown
do not detract from the riot of fabulous colours outside which stream in through the French windows. A romantic four poster bed, swathed in wispy muslin, dominates the master bedroom – and also perhaps your time here!
Guests can dine to suit there mood in this resort, allowing you to enjoy a different dining experience every night. Enjoy barbecues on the beach, intimate candlelit dinners in the privacy of the villa, at the yacht club or in the tree house.
The pace of life on Frégate is as easy- going and slow as the giant tortoises that inhabit the spectacular unspoilt island. Here, it’s easy to while away the day, doing nothing at all but lazing on the beach, or by your private pool. Should you wish to break from blissful inactivity , Frégate provides a host of gentle pursuits, which allow you to connect with the stunning natural environment and spend quality time with your loved one. For sporting and nature enthusiasts this resort is a haven of seven unspoilt beaches and home to abundant flora and fauna, which can be explored on foot.
Younger guests are of equal importance making Frégate Island a family friendly destination.
The Castaway Kid’s Clubhouse, with seasonal programmes for children aged between 1-12 years aims to fuse adventure and sport with education. The highlight of this magnificent resort has to be its private beaches, one of which becomes even more secluded with a “beach occupied” sign, making it perfect for honeymooners.
