This Eden-like private island is a totally unspoilt tropical retreat consisting of just 11 handcrafted villas and the most incredible powder-soft beaches dotted around the whole island.
All Villas are beautifully handcrafted from timber, local stone, glass and ylang-ylang with a private kitchen where a chef can prepare your meals. They also have a private plunge pool and sala to complete this private sanctuary within a sanctuary.
Full butler service, private spa and massage treatments and a ‘no-menu’ concept which sees the chef personally tailor your personal dinner preferences makes North Island a truly unique holiday experience and the epitome of barefoot luxury.

Location
North Island is approximately 32km northwest of Mahé and 5km north of its nearest neighbour Silhouette. You transfer to the island by helicopter in about 20 minutes from Mahé. The island is 3.4km long by 22km wide - an area of around 205 hectares. You can’t walk all the way around the island, but you can stroll to the beaches on the western side (about 1.6km long) and the eastern beach (about 1.2km long).
