Introduction to Singita
Introduction
Singita has four superlative lodges to choose from, all very different in style. Singita Ebony is
the original “super-lodge”, the more authentic and rustic in style, and to this day it remains
one of the most luxurious and exclusive safari accommodations in Africa. A few minutes away,
Singita Boulders is a synthesis of the classical and contemporary, furnished in natural tones. Less
than an hour away are Singita Lebombo and Sweni, the newest of the four and completely different to
anything the Kruger has seen before.
Ebony and Boulders have just 9 uniquely furnished, air-conditioned suites apiece, set in
shaded woodland. All are furnished with a four poster bed, an enormous en suite bathroom and
living areas with double-sided fire, private decks and plunge pools. Ebony has little touches like
paper and paints should you feel inspired by your surrounds. Boulder’s suites are fronted in glass
providing spectacular views over the river and African plains beyond.
Singita Lebombo is extremely modern and oozes ethnic designer chic. 21 open-plan suites
split between Lebombo and Sweni Lodges, are housed in elevated glass lofts high in the hillside ,
of fering unrivalle d views of the rivers below. There are plenty of sociable alfresco areas near the
pool where you can relax on designer furniture, surrounded by abstract glass sculpture– rather
different to traditional bomas!
Each lodge has first class facilities including wine cellars and spas and offers exceptional
gourmet cuisine, as you would expect from Relais & Châteaux lodges.
