2. When staying in Crete, visit the famous Minoan Palace Knossos, situated just south of Heraklion. It’s best to go early in the morning or late in the day (the site closes at 7.30pm) for the best light and fewer crowds. It’s a stunning archeological site and if legends were to be believed it is the site of the famous Labyrinth that held the Minotaur.

A Suggestion for you 1. In Cyprus visit Omodos Village in the Troodos Mountains, it is a lovely village visited by many as it retains its traditional Cypriot charm. The Stou Kir Yianni restaurant in the village comes highly recommended by our Product Manager Zoe Saunders, whose tip is to make sure you’re hungry when you visit as the meze served here are delicious, varied and plentiful!
